REPEAT-TEST PROTOCOL

Conditions matter more than a big percentage.

Below is the protocol for repeat tests with published raw logs. The supplied summary does not document these steps. Results depend on the PC and scene and do not guarantee the same gain on another PC.

  1. Only InputLag changes

    Keep the same PC, game build, driver, scene, resolution, graphics, FPS cap, V-Sync and Reflex/Anti-Lag settings. Disable frame generation. Publish the exact actions applied.

  2. Repeat and alternate

    At least 5 before/after pairs, with 90–120 seconds per capture. Alternate AB and BA, warm up the system and shaders, and restore baseline settings between conditions.

  3. Show the variation

    Charts show the median of each condition’s per-run metric. Change = (after median / before median − 1) × 100%. Show the range and every run, including regressions. A range is not a confidence interval.

  4. Keep FPS and latency separate

    Average FPS is the number of frame intervals / their total time. 1% Low is 1000 / mean duration of the slowest 1% of frames. P99 is the 99th percentile frame time. These metrics do not measure full click-to-photon latency.
