These are starting points, not a universal best config. Apply changes in the game, compare the result, and mark what you’ve reviewed. Availability can vary by hardware and patch.

- Compare the default with a fixed baseline
Ubisoft enabled it by default in Operation Split Fire for frame-rate consistency. Compare sharpness as well as FPS.
- Compare your current preset with a lower one
Use a repeatable benchmark. Retain visual details that help you identify players.
- Keep constant for the baseline
If adaptive scaling is active, account for changing resolution when comparing the result.

Use the current menu
Operation Split Fire reorganized Options into multiple categories. Older screenshots may not match your client.
Keep required security settings enabled
Ubisoft lists Secure Boot, HVCI and TPM 2.0 requirements for Legend Division. Do not disable required protections to follow an old performance recipe.
Change one thing at a time
Keep your resolution, map and test route consistent. Compare several runs and record frame-time spikes as well as average FPS.
Keep a baseline
Save your current settings before changing them. Keep changes that improve your own measurements; a higher peak FPS alone does not mean steadier play.
